Q&A: Developing Inspiration
It's been a contemplative week for me, as I've been taking a step back out of my little programming world and taking a look at how others do their work.
Today, I wanted to ask where you get your ideas and inspirations in your designs and site development. We all have our tried and true resources, but oftentimes there isn't too much in common from one developer/designer to another. Sometimes, it's good to come together and share our resources, and maybe see things a bit differently.
Here's a quick list of some of my inspirations:
- Open Source Web Design - For a bunch of "starting points" in the layout and design process.
- Andreas Viklund - Who reminds me that both form and function are important.
- Ray Camden's Coldfusion Blog - Covering a lot of the little things in ColdFusion development that help make a better end-product.
- Blog Ministry Lab - A small group, but trying to move Christian blog design forward.
- The Church Webmasters' Forum - Sharing experiences and ideas with other church webmasters with a wide range of experiences.
